Looking for a little elegance in the garden? Or maybe a touch of jungly lushness? Callas, with their simple, classic flowers and large, shiny leaves, fit both descriptions and make an excellent highlight in any style of garden.

There are two types of calla lilies — those that prefer wet soil and those that like it a little drier and better drained (although still moist). If you've had trouble growing callas in the past, make sure you're planting them in the soil they like — once I figured this out, my calla lilies went from struggling to thriving.
